About the Event

Making Your Yard a Nature Oasis with Becca Sharp (Nature NB)

Explore how to make your yard more nature-friendly with all-season, all-ages ideas for creating front and backyard destinations for bees, butterflies, birds, and more. An urban lot is more than enough space for both people and nature to fully enjoy!

This event is in honour of Spring Break and is family-friendly too! Co-sponsored by Nature NB. Becca Sharp is Nature NB’s Conservation Coordinator, passionate about sharing the outdoor education and nature skills she learned at Alderleaf Wilderness College and Holland College while becoming a wildlife technician. Her interests include nature-scaping, wild edibles, medicinal plants, permaculture, wilderness survival skills, and how to live with a smaller energy footprint.
